We have held creative playshops with Universities of the Third Age (U3As) across Victoria and we would like to talk to more older people (65+) in their local communities.
In these playshops, we use creative methods to explore how older adults feel about technology in their everyday lives, how technologies have changed in the recent past and what might be possible with technology in the future. Our focus for the playshops is on enhancing the critical understanding of how older adults interact with and feel about technology in an increasingly datafied world. The emphasis is on play, not work, so creativity is encouraged.
If you would like your U3A or other older adult community organisation to be involved, please email Dr Caitlin McGrane (caitlin.mcgrane@rmit.edu.au).
